Snickerdoodle Muffins

The best of snickerdoodles, all rolled into a muffin.

3 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
1 cup milk

Chocolate Mousse Bowls

A really simple but rich dessert.  Make the bowls using small balloons (water balloon size) and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.

Ground Beef and Vegetable Soup

1 lb 90% lean ground beef

4 cups (1 box) beef broth or stock
water
2 beef bullion cubes
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
3 celery ribs, 3 carrots, 2 potatoes – washed, peeled, chopped
